1. Piston rod (head section)
1. Transmission lubrication tube
1. 2nd and 4th brake band
2. 1st and reverse clutch assembly
24) Install brake cover to transmission case with snap ring, using
snap ring plier.
Special Tool
(A): 09900-06108 (Snap ring plier)
1. Brake cover
2. Snap ring
NOTE:
It is best for the head section of piston rod to protrude
from the inner side of transmission case approx. 2 – 3 mm
(0.079 – 0.118 in.)
25) Apply A/T fluid to outer surface of three pins.
26) Insert three pins to transmission case.

27) Apply A/T fluid to transmission lubrication tube.
28) Install transmission lubrication tube.
29) Tighten clamp with bolt.
Tightening Torque
(a): 5.5 N·m (0.55 kg-m, 4.0 lb-ft)
30) Install 2nd and 4th brake band.
31) Install 1st and reverse clutch assembly.
