REMOVE AND INSTALL SUSPENSION
FRAME
5. No.2 control rod

REMOVAL
1) Hoist vehicle and remove rear wheels.
2) Remove muffler referring to SECTION 6K.
3) Remove stabilizer bar (if equipped). Refer to Step 1) – 4) in STA-
BILIZER BAR REMOVAL of this section.
4) For vehicles equipped with ABS, detach ABS wheel speed sen-
sor connector and harness (right and left) from suspension
frame and control rods.

5) To facilitate toe adjustment after reinstallation, put match marks
on washer and on suspension frame.
6) Loosen No.2 control rod outer bolts (right and left) and remove
No.2 control rod bolts (right and left).
7) Loosen No.1 control rod outer bolts (right and left) and remove
No.1 control rod inner bolts (right and left).

WITH STABILIZER BAR
WARNING:
To avoid the danger of being burned, do not touch the
exhaust system when the system is hot. Any service
on the exhaust system should be performed when the
system has cooled down.
