BRAKE LIGHTS

WIRING CIRCUIT
TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS
Trouble
Stop lights do not light.
Stop lights stay on.
Possible cause
D Fuse blown
D Bulb burnt out
D Stop light switch faulty
D Wiring or grounding faulty
D Stop light switch faulty

NOTE:

1. Battery
2. Main fuse
3. Junction box
4. Stop light switch
5. Joint connector
6. Brake light (Driver side)
7. Brake light (Passenger side)
8. High mounted stop light
Correction
Replace fuse to check for short.
Replace.
Adjust or replace switch.
Repair as necessary.
Adjust or replace switch.
