5A-214 Automatic Transmission:
1. Position the transaxle mount in place between the
frame and mount bracket (1).
2. Lower the transaxle onto the mount (3).
CAUTION
!
Refer to "Fastener Notice: " in Cautions and
Notices.
3. Install the transaxle mount to bracket nuts (2).
Tightening torque
Tighten the nuts to 37 N⋅m (27 lb ft).
4. Remove the transaxle mount to frame nuts (4).
Tightening torque
Tighten the nuts to 37 N⋅m (27 lb ft).
5. Remove the transmission stand.
6. Lower the vehicle.
Transmission Rear Mount Bracket
Replacement (AWD)
Removal Procedure
1. Remove both catalytic converters. Refer to "Catalytic
Converter Replacement - Right Side: " and "Catalytic
Converter Replacement - Left Side: ".
2. Remove the rear transaxle mount. Refer to
"Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (Getrag
760 Transfer Case)".
3. Remove the transaxle mount bracket bolts (2, 4, 5).
4. Remove the transaxle mount bracket (3).
Installation Procedure
1. Position the transaxle mount bracket to the
transaxle.
CAUTION
!
Refer to "Fastener Notice: " in Cautions and
Notices.
2. Install the transaxle mount bracket bolts (4).
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolts to 55 N⋅m (41 lb ft).
CAUTION
!
Refer to "Fastener Notice: " in Cautions and
Notices.
3. Install the transaxle mount bracket bolts (2, 5).
Tightening torque
Tighten the bolts to 37 N⋅m (27 lb ft).
4. Install the rear transaxle mount. Refer to
"Transmission Rear Mount Replacement (Getrag
760 Transfer Case)".
5. Install both catalytic converters. Refer to "Catalytic
Converter Replacement - Right Side: " and "Catalytic
Converter Replacement - Left Side: ".
