Check boots for breakage, crack and damage. If defective, re-

turn of the piston. In such a case, replace rubber seal.

Reassemble front brake in reverse order of disassembly, noting

the following points.

D Wash each part cleanly before installation in the same

fluid as the one used in master cylinder reservoir.

D Never use other fluid or thinner.

D Before installing piston and piston seal to cylinder, ap-

ply fluid to them.

D After reassembling brake lines, bleed air from them.

1) Replace with a new one at every overhaul. Fit piston seal into

groove in cylinder taking care not to twist it.
