ONFIGURATION OMMAND
<dropcount>
This setting defines how many „wrong" positions will be dropped until the current
position is considered as inaccurate.
Advantages: Several wrong positions, which may indicate a correct DOP and a
valid GPS-fix, during early startup can be eliminated in this way.
Disadvantages: Whenever a wrong GPS position is considered as correct, it takes
<dropcount> seconds until the internal operating software will detect this error.
How to set/get device configuration:

RMC protocols will always show the last (corrected) GPS position (or an invalid
GSP-fix containing zeros during early startup)
• No invalid RMC protocols will be displayed after the first GPS-fix. If GPS
becomes invalid, the corresponding event will happen – also the current state
can be retrieved.

3.2.10.11 DEVICE.GPS.CFG

Parameter syntax
This parameter specifies the number of satellites required for a valid GPS fix.
<req_sat>
It specifies the number of satellites to make the GPS-fix valid. By default it is set to
3. This value allows the MAMBOII to make a valid GPS-fix even in areas with very
bad GPS coverage. However, it can be set to a value from
the value, the higher is the GPS accuracy. Depending on GPS coverage, it is
recommended to specify either 3 or 4. In that case, a protocol sent from the
MAMBOII is considered as "invalid" if it has less than 3 or 4 satellites in a sentence.

3.2.10.12 DEVICE.GPS.TIMEOUT

Parameter syntax
This setting specifies the timeout to wait before the GPS part performs a hard reset,
if there is no valid GPS fix. This will force the MAMBOII to reset the GPS engine for
satellite reacquisition. This configuration will help the MAMBOII to reacquire valid
GPS position in areas with very poor GPS signal quality.

It defines whether to reset the GPS engine, when no GPS fix available. It can be
