Command description
If you are using a connection-oriented protocol such as TCP, this command
connects the MAMBOII to a remote TCP server using the specified IP address and
port number. To open such a connection, first set the server address, and the port
with
TCP.CLIENT.CONNECT=<s_type>,<ip_address>,<port>
command to connect to. After the TCP connection has been established
successfully, use the TCP.Client.Send,<protocols>,<"text"> command to send the
data. To know whether the MAMBOII results TCP connected or disconnected,
switch on the debugging mode and use a terminal program where you will see the
TCP related events, or you can configure a LED indicator to indicate TCP status –
see examples in chapter
Parameter description
none.
Notes
•
If a TCP connection will be initiated and the MAMBOII is not able to connect
to, it is started with the default value due to missing values for the
TCP.CLIENT.CONNECT
•
Before using this message, make sure that the MAMBOII is already GPRS
attached, otherwise the MAMBOII is not able to initiate a TCP connection
even if the TCP settings are correctly set.
