Connecting to the RS-232C Port on the CPU Unit

3. Assembling the Hood

Assemble the connector hood as shown.

FG Connection

Ground plate

4. Connection to the CPU Unit

• Always turn OFF the power supply to the PLC before connecting or disconnecting communications cables.

• Tighten the communications connector attachment screws to 0.4 N·m.

Aluminum foil tape

Tighten the screws firmly.

No FG Connection
