Steering Control Handle

6. Lift cover (4) off assembly and lay to one side.
NOTE!
7. Disconnect wiring harness connector.
CAUTION
8. Remove set screw (8) located at the base of the
steering control handle stem (7) and drive out pin
(24) using a hammer and a brass drift pin. Hold
stem securely to prevent it from dropping.
9. Carefully remove steering control handle stem (7).

Make note locations of cable ties on handle
harness before disconnecting wiring.
The steering control handle stem will be
free to fall when cap screws are removed.
