Rear Axle Case
1. Disconnect the brake rod.
2. Disconnect the parking brake rod and parking brake cable (left
side only).
3. Place the disassembling stand under the rear axle case.
4. Remove the rear axle mounting screws and nuts.
5. Separate the rear axle case from brake case.
(When reassembling)
• Apply liquid gasket (Three Bond 1208D or equivalent) to joint
face of the rear axle case and brake case.
• Be sure to check and adjust the parking brake lever free play (see
page 5-S4).
