If no parameter is specified, IPv6 packets are filtered based on source IPv6 addresses.
If the mac-address keyword is specified, the IPv6 packets are filtered based on source IPv6
addresses and source MAC addresses.
Among S3100 series switches, only S3100-EI series switches support the two commands.
Examples
# Enable the filtering of the IPv6 packets received through port Ethernet 1/0/11.
<Sysname> system-view
[Sysname] interface Ethernet 1/0/11
[Sysname-Ethernet1/0/11] ipv6 check source ip-address

ipv6 host

Syntax
ipv6 host hostname ipv6-address
undo ipv6 host hostname [ ipv6-address ]

Parameters
hostname: Host name, a string of up to 20 characters. The character string can contain letters,
numerals, "_", "-", or "." and must contain at least one letter.
ipv6-address: IPv6 address.
Description
Use the ipv6 host command to configure the mapping between host name and IPv6 address.
Use the undo ipv6 host command to remove the mapping between host name and IPv6 address.
Each host name can correspond to only one IPv6 address. A newly configured IPv6 address will
overwrite the previous one.
Related commands: display ipv6 host.
Examples
# Configure the mapping between host name and IPv6 address.
<Sysname> system-view
System View: return to User View with Ctrl+Z.
[Sysname] ipv6 host aaa 2001::1
