Description
Use the lldp compliance cdp command to enable CDP compatibility globally.
Use the undo lldp compliance cdp command to restore the default.
By default, CDP compatibility is disabled globally.
Notes that:
Of the S3100 series, only the S3100-EI series switches support the CDP compatibility function.
As the maximum TTL allowed by CDP is 255 seconds, ensure that the product of the TTL
multiplier and the LLDPDU transmit interval is less than 255 seconds for CDP-compatible LLDP to
work properly with Cisco IP phones. You can use lldp hold-multiplier command to configure the
TTL multiplier and use lldp timer tx-interval command to configure the LLDPDU transmit interval.
