On the front edge of all cards, two LEDs indicate the card's power status, and the status of
all FPGAs on the card.

An FPGA (field-programmable gate array) is a semiconductor
device that can be configured by the engineer after
manufacturing — hence the name "field-programmable."

Card Power LED
Card Power LED
The Card Power LED indicates power status for the card.

Green
= card power is OK.
~
Red
= power is bad (or has failed) on the card.
~
Off = the chassis is turned off or power has failed.
Loaded LED
The Loaded LED indicates the status of all FPGAs on the card.
~
Green
= all FPGAs are loaded successfully.
~
Red
= an FPGA is bad, or software has not properly loaded.
~
Off = the chassis is turned off or power has failed.
