6.3 Image Dimensional Adjustment
6.3.1 General description
There are several adjustment items in the image dimensional adjustment, as listed below. When
adjusting these items, the following adjustment order should strictly be observed.
1 Paper alignment at the registration roller
2 Printer related (a) Reproduction ratio of primary scanning direction
adjustment
(b) Primary scanning data laser writing start position
(c) Reproduction ratio of secondary scanning
(d) Secondary scanning data laser writing start
(e) Primary scanning data laser writing start position
3 Scanner related (a) Image distortion
adjustment
(b) Reproduction ratio of primary scanning direction
(c) Image location of primary scanning direction
(d) Reproduction ratio of secondary scanning
(e) Image location of secondary scanning direction
(f) Top margin
(g) Right margin
(h) Bottom margin
