6E1-30 ELECTRONIC FUEL INJECTION SYSTEM (G13/G16 ENGINE WITHOUT WU TWC)
CODE NO.21 TP SENSOR CIRCUIT
(SIGNAL VOLTAGE HIGH)
STEP
1) Disconnect MAP sensor coupler.
2) Disconnect ECM (PCM) couplers.
3) Check resistance between terminals under each

conditions below.
Between A11 and C17: 2.5 kW – 6 kW
Between C7 and C17: 170 W – 15.5 kW
Are they within specifications?
1) Disconnect TP sensor coupler.
2) Is there continuity between ECM (PCM) coupler
terminals A11 and C7?

NOTE:
Upon completion of inspection and repair work, perform final check, referring to "FINAL CHECK" in this
section to confirm that the trouble has been corrected.
ACTION
1. ECM (PCM) coupler disconnected
1. ECM (PCM)
2. ECM (PCM) coupler
3. TP sensor
4. TP sensor coupler
5. To MAP sensor
6. To other sensor
NOTE:
Be sure to turn OFF ignition switch for this check.
YES
Go to Step 2.
"P" wire shorted to "Gr"
wire.
NO
Faulty TP sensor, "Gr"
wire open, "G/R" wire
open or poor TP sensor
connection.
Poor C17 connection or
poor C7 connection.
If connections are OK,
intermittent trouble or
faulty ECM (PCM).
Recheck referring to
"INTERMITTENT AND
POOR CONNECTION"
in Section 0A.
