B-14 ENGINE COOLANT TEMPERATURE SIGNAL CIRCUIT CHECK
(4 A/T VEHICLE ONLY)
STEP
Turn ignition switch ON and check voltage between
"Gr/B" wire terminal of TCM coupler and body ground
1 as engine coolant temperature changes and confirm
it is as specified below.
Is check result satisfactory?

YES
Signal circuit is in good
condition.
1. ECM
2. TCM
NO
Check each wire
harness, circuit
connection and ECT
sensor. If they are OK,
replace ECM.
