TABLE B-6 POWER STEERING PRESSURE (PSP) SWITCH SIGNAL CIRCUIT
CHECK (IF EQUIPPED)

INSPECTION
STEP
1 PSP Switch Signal Circuit Check
1) Connect SUZUKI scan tool to DLC with ignition
switch OFF.
2) Start engine and select "DATA LIST" mode on
scan tool.
3) Check power steering pressure switch for operation.
Engine running and steering
wheel at straight-ahead position
Engine running and steering
wheel turned to the right or
left as far as it stops
Is it in good condition?
2 Check Wire Harness.
1) Turn ignition switch OFF and disconnect PSP
switch connector.
2) Check for proper connection to PSP switch.
3) If OK, then check voltage at "G / W" wire terminal
with ignition switch ON. See Fig. 1.
Is it 10 – 14 V?
