CHAPTER 35. Call Admission Control
treatment(Optional) Applies call treatment from the session application if the
resource is not available.
The default is busyout and treatment for global resource triggers.
DSP resource
When there is no DSP resource available, this is the function that cuts calls
until DSP resource is returned. When DSP utilization is more than the
designated value Minor/Major Alarm goes on.
Set up the threshold according to utilization of DSP chip mounted in the
system, not to utilization of DSP resource, use call-admission threshold alarm
max-dsp, and change the initial value using 'no' command. The initially set
min value is 70 and max value is 80.

call-admission threshold alarm max-dsp [min <value>] [maj <value>]
no call-admission threshold alarm max-dsp
min value: Is DSP utilization that Minor Alarm would RAISE/CLEAR, a user
can designate from 1% TO 100%. The initial value is 70.
maj value: Is DSP utilization that Major Alarm would RAISE/CLEAR, a user
can designate from 1% to 100%. The initial value is 80.

Call-admission Spike

This is the function that cuts calls, monitoring when incoming calls reach their
peak in a certain period. To set up this function, use 'call-admission spike'
which is global CAC configuration command, to release it use 'no' command.
call-admission spike <call-number> [ steps <number-of-steps> size
<milliseconds> ]
no call-admission spike <call-number>
call-number-The number of incoming calls to set as the spike threshold.
The range is from 1 to 2, 147, 483, 647.
steps-The number of steps in a sliding window. The range is from 3 to 10.
size-The size of the step in milliseconds. The range is from 100 to 2000.
