CHAPTER 31. Digital Voice Port
When jitter is 200 msec, the jitter buffer will quickly adapt up to 200 ms
(maximum). If network jitter decrease to 10msec and stays there for a LONG
time, the jitter buffer will slowly adapt down to 20 msec(minimum), and stay
there until the jitter increase to 500 msec. If network jitter decrease to 10 msec
for just a little while and goes up again, the jitter buffer may just adapt down
for a little and go up again, or may not even adapt down. For 500 msec jitter,
the jitter buffer will not go over 200 msec(maximum).
Country Variants
In case of E1-R2, use subcommands of cas-custom for PSTN signaling related
setting. To accommodate Country variants of E1-R2, it is available to set up the
variant value by country. The next describes the setup process of cas-custom.
CLI commands after 'country' command setting are necessary for customizing
the set up values.

Purpose
Enter the global configuration mode.
Enter the module configuration mode.
Enter cas-custom configuration mode.
Customizes E1 R2 signaling parameters for the
particular ds0-group on a channelized E1 line.
selects a country to initialize the parameters of
CAS variant.
if you select the appropriate country, by the
commands below, parameters available for setting
may be initialized to the appropriate values for
corresponding country. if you don't input use-
defaults, apply signaling state by country.
The countries supported are as follows:
- Australia-australia country specification.
- brazil-brazil country specification.
- china-china country specification.
- easteurope-easteurope country specification.
- hongkong-hongkong country specification.
- India-india country specification.
- itu-itu country specification.
- korea-korea country specification.
- thailand-thailand country specification.
- mexico-mexico country specification.
