Battery backup on the CPUI( )-U( ) ETU Unit retains memory for the

During normal operation, the batteries are continually recharged via a
built-in charging circuit.
The backup battery on the CPUI( )-U( ) ETU should be replaced
every 2 years. Refer to the Xen IPK System Hardware manual for
