Features and Specifications Manual
If a caller receives a call waiting tone during an internal call, the caller can
access the next higher station number in the same 10s group (e.g., 10~19,
20~29, or 110~119, 220~229) by dialling 2 (default).
Terminal Type
All terminals.
Required Components
None.
After calling a station and receiving a call waiting tone:
1.

The next higher available station number is called.
After attempting to System Call Park call in a busy location and
receiving busy tone (e.g., System Call Park locations 0 and 1 are
busy, and an attempt is made to park in location 0):

General
Step Call operation can be performed only when a call waiting tone is
heard.
When a call is stepped to the next higher station number, the next
available station number is accessed (it may not be the next
consecutively numbered station).
Step Call is provided in a 10s group (e.g., 100~109) of stations. If the
highest station number in a 10s group is reached and is busy, the
search continues with the lowest number in the group.
This feature is unaffected by tenant assignment.
