configure eaps fast-convergence [on | off]
Description
Enables EAPS to converge more quickly.
Syntax Description

Default
Default is off.
Usage Guidelines
In certain environments to keep packet loss to a minimum, configure EAPS with fast-convergence
turned on. If fast convergence is turned on, it will be displayed under the
example:
ALP_2_22:2 # show eaps
EAPS Enabled: Yes
EAPS Fast-Convergence: On
Number of EAPS instances: 2
EAPSD-Bridge links: 4
NOTE
If fast-convergence is turned on, the link-filters on all EAPS ring-ports are turned off. This could result in
a problem if the port's hardware had a problem and started "flapping" between link-up/link-down states.
Example
The following command configures fast convergence for EAPS domain "eaps_1":
configure eaps eaps_1 fast-convergence on
History
This command was first available in ExtremeWare 7.1.
Platform Availability
This command is available on the "i" series platforms. This command is not supported on mini-GBICs
on the Summit 48si.
