For installing the orifice tube.
This tube is used to remove liquid from the sample
beaker to the waste container.
Enables you to maintain dispersion of the sample. Two
types of stirrers are available:
• Propeller; maintains dispersion by means of a glass
propeller. The propeller stirrer is included with the
Elzone analyzer.
• Hydropulser (optional); maintains dispersion using a
pulsing motion. The hydropulser may be desirable for
more fragile samples and when using small volumes
of analysis liquids.
For raising the sample beaker up and around the orifice
tube for analysis.
To raise the stand: Pull out the knob and slowly raise
the stand to the desired position, then release the knob to
lock it into place. Slots are evenly spaced along the sam-
ple stand track for this purpose.
To lower the stand: Pull out the knob and slowly lower
the stand to its lowest position, then release the knob to
lock it into place.
