Table 70
describes the mask bit assignment for tracking calibrations in the "adi_ADRV9001_TrackingCalibrations_e". It also explains the
functionality of each tracking calibration. Note that it is possible to select different masks for Channel 1 (Tx1/Rx1) and Channel 2 (Tx2/Rx2).

Calibration
Description
Performs tracking QEC calibration for frequency independent errors
Tx QEC
for the Tx path. It estimates the gain and phase mismatch on-the-fly
Tracking Calibra-
using the real-time traffic data and applies the gain mismatch in the
tion
digital domain. Similar to the initial calibration, currently it uses the Tx
path and an ILB path. If transmitted data is quadrature modulated,
this tracking calibration is performed, but it is not used if the data
modulation is direct modulation (DM).
Tx LOL
Performs tracking LOL calibration. It estimates the LOL on-the-fly and
Tracking Calibra-
applies the cancellation in the digital domain. It uses the Tx path
tion
and a loopback path (external loopback path preferred, if available). If
transmitted data is quadrature modulated, this calibration is performed,
but it is not used if the data modulation is direct modulation (DM).
Tx Loop Back
Tracks the Tx loop back path delay (can be for either ILB or ELB)
Path Delay
on-the-fly. This information is required for QEC, LOL, and DPD track-
Tracking
ing calibrations. Currently, this tracking calibration is not available.
Calibration
QEC, LOL, and DPD tracking calibration use the delay measurement
obtained from the Tx loopback path delay initial calibration.
Predistorts the transmit signal in real-time to compensate for the
Tx DPD and
power amplifier nonlinearity to achieve higher power efficiency and
CLGC
also compensate for the gain variation in the power amplifier. For more
