G.1 Install ExtBu
To use the high-speed counter provided by the CPU and the high-speed counter extension module, first install
the ExtBus library file (download the library file from the SMB TECHNICS website:
(https://www.smbtechnics.com), and then run the "Add Library" instruction to use the library.
1）Install library
To boot CODESYS，and select menue"Tools"→"Library Repository"：
In the pop-up window, browse to the folder where " SMB_ExtBus_V1.3.library" is located,
select " SMB_ExtBus_V1.3.library", and click the "Open" button. That means the
SMB_ExtBus_V1.3 library has been installed successfully.
2）Add library
SMB_ExtBus_V1.3 library After the library file is installed successfully, you need to perform Add
Library if you want to use the library in the current project. The detailed operation steps are as
follows:
Expand "Device" → "PLC" → "Application" in the Device view, double-click to open "Library
Manager", then click "Add Library" button in the library manager dialog box, and the following
"Add Library" dialog box will pop up:
