Actions
If you replaced the SNC,
configure the network
parameters.
Perform the following:
Start the ADIC
Management Console
server and client, logon
with administrator
privileges and connect to
the SNC If you
downloaded new
operating software in
Step 5, use the Controls
> Update Firmware
menu item to update the
operating system now.
Use the Tools > Load
SNC 5101
Configuration menu
item to load the
persistent address map
into the SNC.
Use the Controls
>Restart SNC 5101
menu item to restart the
SNC.
Use the Tools >
Disconnect menu item.
Reconnect the FC cables
or, if you turned off the
FC hosts, turn them back
on.

This step must be performed if you replaced the SNC.
If FC1and/or FC2Connection Status LEDs for the
attached hosts are not on, check the FC cables.
You may have to change the polarity of the FC cables.
If the problem persists, go to "Start MAP" on
page 129.
