RARFAIL (SSC)
PURPOSE
This procedure provides instructions to clear Rearrangement Failure (RARFAIL) alarm/condition.
GENERAL
Rearrangement failure is an indication connections can not be routed through the SSC module.
STEP
PROCEDURE
Enter

Observe output. Note module with RARFAIL alarm.

Verify the SST of both SSC modules. Is one SSC module WRK and the other SSC

module STBYH?

where: AID=Access Identifier of either SSC

Did RARFAIL alarm clear?

STOP. This procedure is complete.

to retrieve state of SSC in slot seven.
RTRV-EQPT::SWC-7;
to retrieve state of SSC in slot eight.
RTRV-EQPT::SWC-8;
If yes, go to step 6.
If no, go to step 9.
to switch SSC in RARFAIL alarm.
