1.3.5.2 Fan Module

This section describes the appearance, technical specifications, and speed adjustment of fans.
Appearance and Technical Specifications of Fan Modules
The fan modules of the USG9520 are located at the rear of the chassis. Each fan module has
two fans that work in 1+1 backup mode. When a fan fails, the heat dissipation system enables
the system to continue operating for a short time at the ambient temperature of 40°C. The fan
module is hot-swappable.

NOTE
The heat dissipation system allows the device to operate at the ambient temperature for a short time as
long as, at the time of failure, the system has not been operating continuously for more than 96 hours
and the accumulated operation time of the system per year does not exceed 15 days.
