Step 6 Check the running status of the new SPC.

Check the running status of the new SPC in the following ways:

Check the STATUS indicator on the panel of the SPC. If it is on (green), the SPC is

working normally.

Check the alarms. If the system does not generate any alarm related to the new SPC, the

SPC is working normally.

Run the display device command on the console interface to view the running status of

SPUs. If the SPUs in the corresponding slots are working normally, the following is
