Step 16 Check the running status of the new MPU/SRU.
Normally, after the new MPU/SRU is inserted into the chassis, the MPU/SRU automatically
communicates with the boards in the chassis. In this case, you can check the running status of
the new MPU/SRU in the following ways:
l

Enter your choice(1-12): 4
In the boot files submenu, enter 1 and then specify the system software for the next
startup.

command.

and specify the PAF and license files to be used for the next startup.
The file names are paf.txt and license.txt.

to specify the configuration file to be used for the next startup.
In the startup file menu, enter 1 to return to the BootROM main menu.
On the BootROM main menu, enter 12 to restart the device.
Check the RUN indicator on the panel of the MPU/SRU. If it is on (green), the
MPU/SRU is working normally.
