Step 7 Connect the cables to the corresponding interfaces in the original sequence.

Step 8 Log in to the device and run the power on slotslot-id command to power on the LPU

backplane whose FPIC has been replaced.

Step 9 Check the running status of the new FPIC.

Check the running status of the new FPIC in the following ways:

Check the STATUS indicator on the panel of the FPIC. If it is on (green), the FPIC is

working normally.

Check the alarms. If the system does not generate any alarm related to the new FPIC, the

new FPIC is working normally.

Run the display device command on the console interface. If the LPUs in the

corresponding slots are working normally, the following is displayed:
