Device Clearance Requirements
The USG9520 DC chassis is 4 U high, and the USG9520 AC chassis is 5 U. The USG9520
requires front and back maintenance mode. The device must meet the following clearance

Airflow
– A minimum of 75 mm between the air intake of the cabinet and neighboring
objects. If the air intake of the cabinet is next to another communication device, a
minimum of 150 mm is required
– A minimum of 2 U between devices installed in the same cabinet, between the top-
most device and the cabinet top, and between the bottom-most device and the
cabinet bottom
