2.4.6 Connecting the UniDrive6000 to the ESP6000 Controller Card

All attachment plug receptacles in the vicinity of this unit are to be of
the grounding type and properly polarized. Contact an electrician to
check faulty or questionable receptacles.
This product is equipped with a 3-wire grounding type plug. Any
interruption of the grounding connection can create an electric shock
hazard. If you are unable to insert the plug into your wall plug recep-
tacle, contact an electrician to perform the necessary alterations to
assure that the green (green-yellow) wire is attached to earth ground.
Verify proper alignment before inserting cables into connectors.
With the UniDrive6000 and personal computer powered off, attach the
supplied 100-pin cable to the connector labeled CONTROLLER INPUT at
the rear of the UniDrive6000. Next attach the cable to the ESP6000 card
connector at the rear of the personal computer (see Figure 2.4-21). Con-
nector orientation is shown in Appendix C. Secure both connectors with
the locking thumbscrews.
