Apply a locking agent to the sta rter clutch outer
mounting bolt threads.
Hold the flywheel with
a
flywhee l holc:ler a,nd tighten
the starter cltJtch mounting torx bo lts.
TOOL:
Flywheel holder
07725-0040000
(equivalent commer-
cially available in
U.S.A.)
TORQUE: 16 N•m (1.6 kgf•m, 12 lbf.ft)
Install the starter driven 9ear into the one-way cl utch
while tumi119 it co unterclockwise.
Recheck the one-way clutch ope ration.
You should ue able to tu rn the driven gear cou nter-
clockwise smoothly, b ut the gear should not turn
clockwise.

Clean any oi l from the crankshaft taper.
Install the woodruff key into the groove in the crank-
shaft.
Install the f lywheel aligning the key way in the fly-
wheel with the woodruff key on the crankshaft .
Apply oi l to the flywheel bolt th reads and seati n!'.l sur-
face.
Install the washer and flywheel bolt.
