CRANKCASE/ TRANSMISSION
The shift forks have t he following location marks:
"RL" for right and left
"C" for center
Install the shift forks into the shift drum guide groove
wit h the identificotion marks facing toward the right
side of the eng ine and insert the fork shaft.
Apply o locking ogent to the threads of the bolt/Wash-
er.
Install the bolt/washer. t hen tighten them
to
the sµet:•
ified to rque.
TORQUE: 12 N•m
(1.2
kgf•rn, 9 lbf•ft)
Assemble the crankcase halves (poge 11 11 ).
TRANSMISSION
REMOVAL/ DISASSEMBLY
Separate the crankcase halves

Rem ove the mainshaft and cuu11lershaft assemblies.
