Install the oil seal
with

up.

Before assembly, wash all parts with a high flash or
non-flammable solvent and wipe them dry.

damage the coating of t he bushing if it hos been
removed .
Re move the burrs from the bushi ng mati ng su rface,
be in g carefu l not to peel off the coating.
Install the guide bushing, back-up ri ng 11nn nP.w oil
seal onto the fork sl ider.
Coat a new 0-ring w ith fork f luid and in stall it into the
groove in the o il lock piece.
Install the oil lock piece into the fork tube.
Apply
ro,
k. flu id
to th e oil sea l lips.

Drive the oil sea l in using the special tools.
TOOL:
Fork seal driver weight 07947-KA50100
Fork seal driver attachment 07947-KA40200
Insta ll the stopper ri ng i nto the fork slider groove
securely.
