Check for continu ity between the pairs of commutator
bors.
There should be continuity.
Check for contin uity between each comm utator bor
and the armature shaft.

Check tor continuity between the insulated brush anti
cable termina l (the indigo colored wire or the insul at-
ed brush holder).
There should be conti nuity.
Check for continuity between the ca ble te rmin11 I and
lire rear cover.
There sho uld be no contin uity.
