Remove the following;
- Oust sea l
- Upper bearin g inner race
- Upper bearing
- Steering st em
- Lower bearing
BEARING REPLACEMENT
Replace the races using the ball race remover set as
described in the following procedu re.

Install the ball race remover into the head pipe as
show n.
Align beoring remove r A w ith the groove in the steer-
ing head.
Lig htl y tighten n ut B with a w re nch.
While holding the driver shaft w ith a wrench, turn nut
A gradually to remove the uµµe, ueari11y outer race.
