LUBRICATION SYSTEM

Remove the pressure relief va lve and O-ri ng.
Remove the oi l straine r and packing.
Clean the oil strainer screen.
INSPECTION
Check the operat ion of the pressurP. rP.lief va lve by
pushing on the piston.
Disassemble the , el ier valve by removing t he snap
ring.
l11sµev1 the p iston for wear, unsmooth movement or
damage.
Inspect the spri ng for fatigue or rla magP..
Assemble the relief valve i11 the reve rse order of dis-
assembly.
Aµµly oil to the new packing and install it onto t he oil
strAiner.
lnmall the oil stroiner into the crankcase w hilP. Ali gn -
ing its boss with the groove in t he crankcase.
