HYDRAULIC BRAKE

Install the new brake pads.
Install the pad spring with its arrow mark fac ing up 11s
shown.
Push the pad spri ng, then inslllll t hP. r,;icf r,i n.
Insta ll the brake caliper to the fork leg so t hat the disc
is positioned between the pads.
Insta ll and tighten t he new brake caliper mou nting
bolls.
TORQUE: 30 N·m (3. 1 kgf•m, 22 lbf.tt)
lighten t he pad pins.
TORQUE: 18 N•m

Push t he cali µier µistons all t he way in by push in g the
caliper bocfy inward to allow installation o f niew brake
pads.
Rem ove t he pad pin plug.
