Digital Oscilloscope Series
The OFFSET command allows adjustment of the
vertical offset of the specified input channel. The
maximum ranges depend on the fixed sensitivity
setting.
The OFFSET? query returns the offset value of the
specified channel.
<channel>:OFFSET <offset>
<channel>:={C1,C2,C3,C4}
<offset>:= vertical offset value with unit, see the
data sheet for details.
Note:
• If there is no unit (V/mV/uV) added, it defaults
to volts (V).
• If you set the offset to a value outside of the legal
range, the offset value is automatically set to the
nearest legal value. Legal values are affected by
the probe attenuation setting.
<channel>:OFFSET?
<channel>:OFFSET <offset>
<offset>:= Numerical value in E-notation with
SI unit.
• The following command sets the offset of
Channel 2 to -3 V.
Command message:
C2:OFST -3V
• The following command sets the offset of
Channel 1 to -50 mV.
Command message:
C1:OFST -50mV
