Reset the router from the command line
To reset the router's configuration to the factory defaults, use the following commands:
del pwds.da0
copy config.fac config.da0
These commands assume you are using configuration profile 0. If you are using configuration profile
1, use the suffix .da1 instead. Using these commands does not preserve any network settings.
Reset the router using the hardware reset button
Most routers have a reset button on the underside of the router.

To perform a factory reset on the router, press and hold the reset button for 5 seconds.

When the reset is initiated in this manner, the LEDs on the front of the router flash to indicate a
▪
reset is in progress.
The router automatically reboots once the factory reset is complete. Do not remove the power
▪
while the router is running this reset procedure.
Using this method will not preserve any settings.

To disable the reset button, enter:

cmd 0 pbreset off
To re-enable the reset button functionality, enter:

cmd 0 pbreset on
