Configure Remote Management
SNMP Trap parameters
SNMP traps are events that are generated when the specified condition is met. The web page and
CLI configuration parameters are described here. The TransPort routers support two trap servers.
Generate Enterprise traps
When this check box is enabled, the router will generate product-specific traps.
Generate Generic traps
SNMP specifies several generic traps (Cold Start, Warm Start, Link Down, Link Up, etc). When
this setting is enabled, generic traps are generated.
Generate Authentication Failure traps
Enables the generation of authentication failure traps.
Generate VRRP traps
Enables or disables generation of VRRP traps. For details on VRRP configuration, see
VRRP Parameters.
