Sistema cruscotto
Il cruscotto è composto da uno
strumento contagiri (1), azionato da
un motore passo-passo, e un'unità
digitale a cristalli liquidi (2). Le
informazioni visualizzate dal display
sono accessibili tramite due pulsanti
di comando (3) e (4) posti nella parte
superiore del cruscotto. Nella parte
inferiore del display LCD sono
disposte sei spie di segnalazione (A)
mentre, all'interno del contagiri, è

presente la spia immobilizer (B).
Il cruscotto è dotato di un sensore di
luminosità che rileva l'intensità della
luce incidente. La logica di controllo
regola l'illuminazione del display e
delle spie al fine di migliorare la
leggibilità in ogni condizione di luce.Il
cruscotto integra al suo interno il
sensore di pressione barometrica: la
centralina di controllo motore
acquisisce questo dato tramite la
linea seriale di comunicazione CAN.
L'eliminazione del sensore esterno,
collegato direttamente alla centralina
motore, permette di guadagnare
peso e migliorare l'affidabilità
riducendo il numero di connessioni.

All'accensione (chiave da OFF a ON o
Key-ON) il cruscotto esegue un
Check di tutta la strumentazione:
lancette, display e spie.
4 - INSTRUMENTATION
The instrument panel
system
The instrument panel comprises a rev
counter (1) driven by a stepper motor
and an LCD digital display (2). The
information shown on the LCD
display can by selected by pressing
the two selector buttons (3) and (4) at
the top of the panel. The bottom of
the LCD display incorporates six
function indicator lights (A). The
immobilizer warning light (B) is
located inside the rev counter.
The instrument panel is equipped
with a daylight sensor to detect the
brightness of ambient light. The panel
logic adjusts illumination of the LCD
display and the function indicators for
optimum legibility under all lighting
conditions. The instrument panel also
houses the atmospheric pressure
sensor. The engine control unit
acquires air pressure data from this
sensor over the CAN serial
communications line. Elimination of
the conventional external sensor
connected directly to the engine
control unit has led to a reduction in
total weight, better system reliability
and less connections.
Instrument check
When you switch on the ignition (turn
the ignition key from OFF to ON or
Key-ON), the instrument panel tests
all the instruments including the
pointers, the LCD and the function
indicators.
