Candela di accensione
Soffiare i pozzetti delle candele con
aria compressa, in modo da
rimuovere la sporcizia prima che le
candele siano tolte.
Sfilare le pipette (1) dalle candele in
entrambe le teste e rimuovere le
quattro candele, evitando che corpi
estranei entrino nella camera di
scoppio.

sostituzione.
Rimontare la candela sulla testa
effettuando un primo serraggio a

prescritta (Sez. C 3).

Spark plug

Blow spark plug recesses with
compressed air so as to remove any
dirt before spark plugs are removed.
Remove the plug caps (1) from the
spark plugs in both heads and remove
the four spark plugs. Take care not to
allow dirt or foreign bodies to fall into
the combustion chambers.
Caution
Check gap between center and
side electrodes.
If gap is outside the specified limits or
in case of carbon deposits on spark
plug surface, change spark plug.
Screw the spark plug in by hand until
the full thread is into the head.
Tighten to the specified torque (Sect.
C 3).
Refit the plug caps (1).
Caution
Do not use spark plugs with an
unsuitable heat rating or incorrect
thread length. Spark plugs must be
properly tightened. Spark plugs that
are not correctly tightened will
overheat and may cause engine
damage.
