Accertarsi che il conto alla rovescia

Prima che il conto alla rovescia arrivi a
zero (15 secondi di tempo) occorre:
rimuovere la chiave nera, reinserire la

chiave rossa (3) e posizionare
l'interruttore su "ON".
Sul display (5) compare il numero di
chiavi inserite in questo caso "4") e
il conto alla rovescia con partenza
da 30.
Accertarsi che il conto alla rovescia

programmazione è andata a buon fine

(15 secondi di tempo), portare
(sempre con la chiave rossa (3))
l'interruttore su "ON". Sul display (5)
viene visualizzata la scritta "On".
Lasciare l'interruttore su "ON" almeno
5 secondi (ma non più di 15) per
consentire il trasferimento dei dati dal
cruscotto alla centralina controllo
motore e successivamente
posizionare l'interruttore su "OFF".
Per concludere la procedura di
programmazione attendere almeno
10 secondi prima di portare
l'interruttore nuovamente su "ON".
A questo punto il sistema (cruscotto e
centralina) è completamente
programmato.
Effettuare la verifica della corretta
programmazione del sistema
immobilizer (vedi paragrafi successivi)
e successivamente reinserire le tre
chiavi nell'anella (7).

scrupolosamente i vincoli di tempo e
tutte le altre condizioni descritte nella
procedura.
Se durante la procedura compare sul
display (5) la scritta "OFF" significa che
la programmazione è stata abortita.

counter flashes. The display (5)

(in about 15 seconds time) turn the
ignition switch (with the red key (3)
still it) to ON. The display (5) reads out
"ON".
Leave the ignition switch ON for at
least 5 seconds but for no longer than
15 seconds to allow the programming
data to be transmitted from the
instrument panel to the engine
control unit, then turn the ignition
switch to OFF.
To complete the programming
procedure, wait at least 10 seconds
before turning the ignition switch
back ON.
At this point the immobilizer system
(instrument panel and engine control
unit) is fully programmed.
Check that the immobilizer system
has been programmed correctly (see
the next sections), then re-attach the
three ignition keys to the key ring (7).
Warning
To program the immobilizer
correctly it is essential to respect
scrupulously all the time limits as well
as all the other instructions for the
procedure.
If at any time during the procedure
the display (5) reads out "OFF", the
programming procedure has been
aborted.
