Orientamento del
proiettore
Mettere il motociclo, con i pneumatici
gonfiati alla giusta pressione e con
una persona seduta in sella,
perfettamente perpendicolare con il
9 x
x suo asse longitudinale.

Posizionare il motociclo di fronte ad
una parete o ad uno schermo,
distante da esso 10 metri.
Tracciare una linea orizzontale
corrispondente all'altezza del centro
del fanale e una verticale in linea con
l'asse longitudinale del veicolo.
Note
Effettuate il controllo
possibilmente nella penombra.
Accendendo la luce anabbagliante il
limite superiore di demarcazione tra la
zona oscura e la zona illuminata deve
risultare ad un'altezza non superiore a
9/10 dell'altezza da terra del centro
del proiettore.
Note
La procedura descritta è quella
stabilita dalla "Normativa Italiana" per
quanto concerne l'altezza massima
del fascio luminoso.
La regolazione verticale del proiettore

si effettua con i pulsanti (A) e (B) del
cruscotto (Sez. M 4).
La rettifica dell'orientamento del
proiettore si può effettuare anche
manualmente.
Rimuovere le plance del cupolino
(Sez. E 1).
L'orientamento verticale si ottiene
agendo sulle viti (1) e (2).
Ruotando le viti in senso antiorario il
fascio luminoso si abbasserà,
viceversa, si alzerà.
L'orientamento orizzontale si ottiene
agendo sulla vite di regolazione (2).
Ruotando la vite in senso antiorario il
fascio luminoso si sposterà verso
destra, viceversa, si sposterà verso
sinistra.
Aligning dipped (LO)
beam
Make sure that the tyres are inflated
to the correct pressure. Have one
person sit upright on the machine,
perpendicular to the motorcycle's
longitudinal axis.
Position the motorcycle 10 metres
from a wall or suitable vertical
surface.
Draw a horizontal line on the wall at
the same height as the centre of the
headlight glass and draw a vertical
line corresponding to the bike's
longitudinal axis.
Note
If possible, adjust the headlight
in low ambient light conditions.
Turn on the dipped (LO) beam.
The top of the illuminated area on the
wall must be no higher than 9/10 of
the height from the ground of the
centre of the headlight.
Note
The above procedure complies
with Italian legislation governing the
height of dipped beams.
To adjust beam angle vertically, use
buttons (A) or (B) on the top of the
instrument panel (Section M 4).
Beam angle can also be adjusted
manually.
To do so, remove the dash panels
from the headlight fairing
(Section E 1).
To adjust the beam vertically, turn the
adjuster screws (1) and (2) together.
Turn the screws anti-clockwise to
lower the beam or clockwise to
raise it.
To adjust the beam horizontally, turn
the adjuster screw (2) alone.
Turn the screw anti-clockwise to
move the beam to the right, or
clockwise to move it to the left.
