tappo carburante
Aprire il tappo di carico.
Svitare le viti (15) esterne che fissano
la ghiera al pozzetto del serbatoio.

Svitare la vite (14) antifurto interna.
Rimuovere il tappo completo (2).
All'interno del pozzetto del tappo si

trova il gommino (26) di sfiato.

In caso di sostituzione, applicare uni-
formemente su tutto il perimetro del-
la gola del gommino (26) un adesivo
istantaneo.

Installare il gommino facendolo ade-
rire perfettamente nella sede del
pozzetto.
Rimontare il tappo completo.

Sostituzione sonda livello
carburante
Rimuovere la flangia inferiore dal ser-
batoio come descritto ad inizio capito-
G
lo.
Scollegare il connettore (F) dalla son-
da (12) dal collegamento sulla flangia
serbatoio.
Rimuovere la sonda livello carburante
dalle staffe interne (D) al serbatoio e
sfilarla dai supporti elastici (11).
Nel rimontaggio allineare lo scasso
11
(E), ricavato sul fondo del supporto
(11), con l'uscita dei cavi della sonda
ed installarlo in questa posizione sulla
sonda livello carburante.
Orientare la sonda disponendo l'es-
tremità dell'elettrodo centrale (G) nel
senso di marcia del veicolo, indicato
dalle freccie.
Inserire il secondo supporto (11)
sull'altra estremità della sonda.
Mantenendo questo orientamento e
con uscita cavi in alto installare la son-
da nelle apposite staffe (D) del serba-
toio.
Riposizionare la flangia serbatoio.
Changing the fuel filler
cap assembly
Undo the filler cap.
Loosen the 3 outer screws (15) fixing
the ring nut to the filler cap recess.
Loosen the anti-theft screw (14) on
the inside.
Remove the complete filler cap
assembly (2).
A breather hose seal (26) is seated
inside the filler recess.
When fitting a new seal, apply a
uniform film of speed bonder along
the groove that accommodates the
seal (26).
Fit the seal and make sure that it is
properly seated in the recess groove.
Refit the complete filler cap
assembly.
Changing the fuel sensor
Remove the front flange from tank as
described at the beginning of this
section.
Disconnect the sensor (12) connector
(F) from tank flange connector.
Remove fuel level sensor from tank
inner brackets (D) and slide it out of
spring mounts (11).
At reassembly, align slot (E) - on
mount (11) bottom - with the sensor
cables outlet and fit it to fuel level
sensor.
Position sensor with the center
electrode (6) end in the vehicle
direction of travel, as shown by the
arrows.
Fit the second mount (11) onto the
other sensor end.
With the parts in this position and
with the cables outlet on top, fit
sensor inside the special tank
brackets (D).
Refit tank flange.
