Dopo aver eseguito tutte le verifiche
necessarie sulla ruota, procedere al ri-
montaggio nel modo seguente.

Lubrificare con grasso l'interno del
mozzo ruota.
Lubrificare il filetto del perno (1).
Montare la ruota completa tra i gam-

bali della forcella.
Attenzione
Orientare la ruota anteriore ten-
endo presente che la freccia (F), mar-
cata sul cerchio indica il senso di
rotazione in marcia.
Inserire il perno ruota (1) dal lato
F
destro.
Inserire il distanziale (8) tra la ruota ed
il gambale sinistro.
Montare l'attrezzo cod. 8000.70139
sul perno ruota (8).
Portare in battuta il perno (1) sul moz-
zo ruota, inserendo il perno di po-
sizionamento dell'attrezzo nelle
apposite nicchie del piede forcella.
Ingrassare filetto e sottotesta del
dado (9) di bloccaggio, quindi avvitarlo
sull'estremità del perno ruota.
Bloccare il dado (9) alla coppia di ser-
raggio prescritta (Sez. C 3).
Rimontare le pinze freno anteriori (A).
Ingrassare e serrare le viti (B) alla cop-
pia prescritta (Sez. C 3).

Controllare che i dischi scorrano liber-

amente all'interno delle pinze.
Prima di serrare le viti (2) mettere a
terra la moto e spingere sul manubrio
per caricare la sospensione; in questo
modo si otterrà l'assestamento dei
gambali sul perno ruota.
Lubrificare le viti (2).
Bloccare le viti (2) alla coppia prescrit-
ta (Sez. C 3) procedendo con sequen-

za 1-2-1.

Refitting the front wheel

Once you have completed all the
necessary inspections, proceed as
follows to refit the wheel.
Grease the inside of the wheel hub.
Grease the threads of the wheel shaft
(1).
Fit the assembled wheel between the
fork legs.
Warning
Fit the wheel with the arrow (F)
on the rim showing the direction of
rotation.
Fit the wheel shaft (1) from the RH
side.
Fit the spacer (8) between the wheel
and the LH fork leg.
Fit special tool part no. 8000.70139 to
the wheel shaft (8).
Push the shaft (1) all the way into the
wheel hub and engage the pin of the
special tool in the notches at the fork
bottom.
Grease the threads and underside of
the shaft lock nut (9). Screw it on the
end of the wheel shaft and tighten it.
Tighten the shaft lock nut (9) to the
specified torque (Section C 3).
Refit the front brake caliper (A).
Grease and tighten the screws (B) to
the specified torque (Section C 3).
Check that the brake discs rotate
smoothly inside the caliper.
Before you tighten the pinch bolts (2),
push the motorcycle off its stand and
push down on the handlebars to load
the front fork and seat the fork legs
firmly on the wheel shaft.
Tighten the pinch bolts (2) to the
specified torque (Section C 3) in the
sequence 1-2-1.
