Sostituzione liquido
impianto frenante
Attenzione
Il liquido impiegato nell'impian-
to frenante, oltre a danneggiare la ver-

nice, è dannosissimo a contatto degli
occhi o della pelle; lavare quindi ab-
bondantemente con acqua corrente
la parte interessata in caso di acciden-
tale contatto.
Sostituzione liquido circuito
frenante anteriore
Collegare alla valvola di spurgo (1)
un tubicino trasparente immergendo
l'estremità in un contenitore appog-
giato al pavimento.
Togliere il coperchio con membrana
dal serbatoio liquido freni anteriori
svitando le viti (2).
Aspirare l'olio all'interno del serbatoio
(A).
Immettere olio nuovo all'interno del
serbatoio (A) fino al raggiungimento
della tacca MAX.
Azionare la leva due o tre volte in
modo tale da permettere al circuito di
andare in pressione.
Mantenere tirata la leva verso la
manopola.
Allentare la valvola di spurgo (1) in
modo da permettere all'olio di uscire.
La leva si trova appoggiata alla mano-
pola.
A questo punto, avvitare la valvola
di spurgo (1) e azionare la leva per
rimettere in pressione il circuito.
Ripetere l'operazione sopra descritta
fino a quando tutto il liquido vecchio
fuoriesce.
Attenzione
Durante l'operazione di riempi-
mento mantenere sempre il livello
dell'olio al di sopra della tacca MIN
per prevenire la formazione di bolle
d'aria all'interno del circuito.
Note
Ripetere l'operazione su en-
trambe le pinze.
Changing the brake fluid
Warning
Brake fluid will damage painted
surfaces if spilled on them. It can also
cause injury if it comes into contact
with your skin or eyes. In the event of
accidental contact with skin or eyes,
wash the affected parts in plenty of
running water.
Changing the fluid in the front
brake circuit
Connect a transparent hose to the
bleed valve (1) and place the other
end in a container of brake fluid on the
floor.
Unscrew screws (2) and remove the
cover and membrane from the front
brake fluid reservoir.
Suck out the brake fluid from inside
the reservoir (A).
Fill the reservoir (A) with clean brake
fluid up to the MAX mark.
Operate the brake lever two or three
times to pressurize the circuit.
Pull the brake lever towards the
handlebar grip.
Slacken off the bleed valve (1) to
allow the old brake fluid out.
The brake lever will now be in contact
with the grip.
Tighten the bleed valve (1) and
operate the brake lever a few times
more to re-pressurize the circuit.
Repeat the steps described above
until all the old fluid has been
expelled.
Warning
Keep the fluid constantly above
the MIN mark while refilling to
prevent air from entering the system.
Note
Repeat the above operation on
both calipers.
